The food is delicious and authentic. Staff service was outstanding! The environment takes you back to a little piece of Mexico. I recommend with a solid "chef's kiss!"

The best Oaxaqueña food by far, so fresh and yummy. I love coming here and the service is top tier! Couldn't have asked for a better authentic Mexican food! :) Please remember to be patient as well, it's a smaller business so there tends to be a little wait for good, fresh food!

My friend and I had just landed in Phoenix and was starving. Found this place and it was a quaint home style mom and pop restaurant. It was sooooo good. Staff was also really friendly and accommodating. Salsa and chips were bomb!! Got the green enchiladas which were sooo good. My friend got the combo plate with beans and rice with enchilada and taco which was also really good. I highly recommend this place if you're craving Mexican homemade food.

Definitely a hole in the wall!! I had the Sopa de Pollo and honestly was great! It had chicken breast and rice and I was very satisfied since it's hard to find simple foods with great flavor. My family and I will definitely be returning. My business owner cooks the food and sometimes even brings it out himself. You don't see that often and it's great to support small businesses.

Real food with real flavor. Stopped in for lunch for the first time today. Friendly customer service, cleanly interior, but no public bathroom. They sell smoked chilis and some bakery items also. The service was friendly and personable. Plan to come back!

There aren't too many Oaxacan restaurants in the Valley, so it was sad that the Oaxacan restaurant on Bethany Home Rd. near the Christown Mall disappeared as a consequence of the leveling of the building it was a part of, to make way for a new commercial plaza. But fortunately it has been reincarnated, this time in the mostly Middle-Eastern ethnic commercial area on 27th Avenue a bit south of Northern Avenue. The new place features the bright colors characteristic of many Mexican restaurants; but this time there is booth seating, unlike in its old location. There is also an array of shelves where some Oaxacan products are displayed for sale. After I was seated, I was given complementary tortilla chips and salsas. I ordered the costillas de puerco con nopales (pork ribs with cactus); the ribs were covered in a red sauce and squares of braised prickly pear pads, a tasty combination nicely complemented by yellow rice, black beans, and warm corn tortillas. I also ordered a side of tamal Oaxaqueño amarillo (their tamales come in yellow, red, or mole varieties), which I thought I would be bringing home but ended up finishing as it was so good. Prices are good and parking is not an issue. It's good to have this restaurant back - I know I can have my favorite mole dishes again, and even chapulines when the season comes.
